Hailed as the world's fashion capital, the city of Paris in France is a mecca of lustrous fashion shows and advents. Because of this, and as a dedicated fashionista, with a mission to travel around the world to see the modern trends in fashion, my first stop was in Paris to see the astounding show of Armani Prive. His anthology for 2007 focused on couture styles incorporated with the essence of Asian trends. The astonishing models were also renowned Hollywood celebrities, with Cate Blanchett, Katie Holmes, and Renee Zelwegger, to name a few. At first I was overwhelmed with the elegant creations of Prive, with famous celebrities posing as statuesqe models. But then I realized that the high-powered celebrities were only a bewitching embellishment to Armani's already astonishing collection. I couldn't keep my camera shutters closed, as this was a once-in-a-lifetime fashion privilege that has caught the attention of fashion critics and well-renowned celebrities. My favorite item of the night was the dazzling empire-cut dress, with deep ruffles, and fantastic, body-hugging cuts. Another incredible outfit that caught my attention was a stunning Indian inspired dress, complete with a ruffled short skirt, and an exactly detailed tube top. The entire fashion show was surely a feast for the eyes, putting Armani into my list of top 10 astounding European designers.
