Fine Romantic Experience in a French Cafe

Although it's nice to stay at home and cook for your partner, as what could turn out to be a delightful candle-lit dinner, giving yourself a treat could also be a fine romantic get-away. Though it would cost some dimes or even thousands of dollars, dinner in a classy cafe could always lead to incredible endings such as marriage, engagement, and a series of hard-to-resist proposals for love. These reminded me of a charming evening spent in Le Cinq, where couples would easily be brought closer by a beautiful garden view. Love is definitely in the air in the outstanding interiors of Le Cinq's elegantly decorated dining room. Its wonderful theme in gold and gray also adds a wonderful touch to the elegance of this French cafe.

What meets the eye also complements what you may enjoy as a delicious dinner dish. Its menu has a delightful variety, not only of the classic French dishes, but also of the contemporary mix. My favorite has got to be the delicious entree of crabs and lobsters with mushrooms, while I also enjoyed the veal chop topped with truffle and capers. Remarkable French wines served in Le Cinq are most similar to the elite services offered by its attentive staff that spending a night in this part of Paris could be expensive, but all worthwhile.

The Delightful Extremes of Jean Paul Gaultier

If there's a French designer to be provided with 'most extravagant,' Jean-Paul Gaultier is a true shoo-in. For the ardent fashionista, the would-be label is not at all shocking since the celebrity already collaborated with Madonna and Marilyn Manson, and we all know that any designer associated with these 'extreme' music icons must be really talented and 'exaggerated' with his or her designs.

Anyway, it is not only in the Hollywood territory that Jean-Paul Gaultier is retaining waves. Since his specialization is in pop culture designs, many people may have already spotted some of his brainchild on the streets of chic cities in the US, like New York or LA, courtesy of a famous celebrity or just a stylish, affluent individual. Some may even have seen his designs on unconventional features, movies, or ads, where the chap is wearing skirts, the look is futuristic, or the fully tattooed celebrity is donned in full costume.

Interestingly enough, apart from his line of distinct designs, Jean-Paul Gaultier is also known for his array of perfumes. As a matter of fact, he has versions for both chaps and ladies, with Le Male as the top-earning item in the male category.

Journeying through Strange-sounding French Regions Through a Strange-sounding French Hotel

One of the extreme thrills about visiting France is the notion of meeting people who speak a strange, but mysterious-sounding language. Add to that the fact that getting to see numerous French places will also most likely allow one to encounter landmarks that carry hard-to-pronounce French words, but sound elegant nevertheless.

If this just happens to be one's ideal, then the correct French hotel to stay in is the Auberge de Cassagne. Housed in a Provencal building that dates back to the 19th century, this appropriate hotel is literally surrounded by several French markers that carry the standard tongue-twisting French names. For instance, settled three miles away is Avignon, the prominent artistic French city, which is the official residence of the Popes' Palace. Equally observed three miles away is the Saint Benezer bridge, while 15 miles away, one can go to the Fontaine de Vaucluse. Meanwhile, more or less 19 miles from Auberge de Cassagne is the Les Baux de Provence and the Pont du Gard and a an excellent 60 miles away is the Marseille Provence Airport.

All the above-mentioned regions may initially appear as simply hard-to-pronounce French landmarks, but they just happen to be places worth wandering through while in France, and the Auberge de Cassagne prides itself in being located relatively near the said places.

Of course, more than the regions, the hotel itself boasts of its own selection of attractions. These include a a complete set of 40 rooms, all attached with elegant facilities like walnut furniture, room-based films, Provencal fabrics, satellite TV, minibars, and Internet access among others. Moreover, among the intensely interesting showcase though is the hotel's terraces that overlook the gardens.
