For a person who adores sunshine and beautiful beaches, the French Riviera is the perfect summer getaway. Personally, the French Riviera ranks second in my list of preferred summer destinations, next to the wonderland Caribbean. Whenever I go there for a vacation, I always make it a point to visit Cannes, which in my opinion is one of the greatest cities for arts. If you're like me who revels in music, arts, and any other forms of entertainment, I graciously recommend going to Cannes. This great city is the absolute sanctuary for artists and people who long to have what people often call "musical awakening." Of course, this city is well-known for its annual celebrated film festival, so it's also the ideal place if what you want is movie star spotting.
For the many of times I've been in Cannes, I have always stayed at the world-renowned and world-class Hotel Martinez. What I love most about this five-star guesthouse is its excellent location in the French Riviera--- it's just a stone's throw away from the beach and the Croisette Promenade. I also admire the Art Deco-inspired design touches of this building, as well as its stylish interiors. With its spacious lobby, shiny marble floors, glass walls, and elegant furnishings, Hotel Martinez is truly a delightful place. Add to that its first-rate service and many convenient amenities, and you got yourself one of Europe's most excellent hotels.
