New Lovely Bond Girl Revealed

Feeling thrilled about the new James Bond picture that will hit the theaters this coming November?

Most of us are feasibly wondering who will portray the role of Bond girl in this coming Agent 007 picture. So, start hitting your keyboard and search about a certain Eva Green, a French actress and composer who was elected to play opposite Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. Eva is the fourth French actress to portray a "Bond girl," and with this exceptional exposure, many are counting on her to become more popular. Just this May, she was elected by Maxim magazine number 20 in its annual Hot 100 survey.

Aside from the picture Casino Royale, this French actress who speaks English and French fluently will join Paul Bettany, Adam Godley and Nicole Kidman in the cast of her next picture, His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass. This picture is based on the first tale in Philip Pullman's trilogy His Dark Materials which is slated for release in 2007 by New Line Cinema. Formerly, Eva has worked opposite Pirates of Caribbean star, Orlando Bloom in the picture, Kingdom of Heaven. With the way it goes, it looks like Eva is on the exact road to stardom.

Depressing and Dishonorable Zidane's World Cup Performance

I have high favor for Zinedine Zidane, the French football national player, but that was before when he's still playing for Real Madrid together with famous players like David Beckham and Brazil's Ronaldo. After his depressing performance at the 2006 World Cup, I begun to wonder if he's the ever steadfast Zidane who played during the World Cup championship game? Was he under the influence of drugs when he committed that headbutt on that Italian player?

I thought he is a trouper already, but what he had shown in that game is nothing but silly gesture. Although he was provoked, he should not have retaliated because it would cause the bout for them. As a trouper of numerous bouts and recipient of countless awards and recognition, Zidane should have acted like a true veteran, but he failed. It would have been a sweet win for the French people if France went on to win that intangible World Cup trophy and honor. After the bout, Zidane would have been wondering what he had done wrong, nevertheless, he cannot do anything about it. Worst, he will end his football career with a dishonorable and depressing performance like that. I suspect if he will disremember that day -- the day France let World Cup slip away from their hands.

My Outstanding Stay in a French Boutique Inn

Inn accommodation plays a Critical role when you plan to go outside the country. This is the grounds why I made sure that the inn that I would be occupying when I toured France is nothing but extraordinary. It was a great blessing that a buddy already knew about the famous inn named La Ferme d'Augustin, a boutique hotel with 46 traditional rooms, located in Provence.

My stay became relaxing also because my room is well-appointed with air-conditioning, telephone, television, mini-bar and room safe. Furthermore, I was privileged that my room had whirlpool bath, 'hammam' style shower, dressing room, private terrace with patio or a balcony with sea views and wireless internet connection. Aside from this, the inn is also surrounded by a large park that created a nice environment for its guests. I had fun investigating the ground with pine trees and provincial gardens creating nice harmony with the 13th century entrance gate. There are also pretty Wisteria, geraniums, climbing roses and blackberry bushes imitating like an umbrella. The inn restaurant also offers fresh local recipes that you would really love to taste. Here, you can be sure that the foods you are eating are homemade, simple, fresh, classy, and scrumptious.

Audrey Tautou is Charming but Causting

Feasibly the most debatable film of this year is the adaptation of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. Two time Oscar-winner Tom Hanks appears as Harvard symbologist who's out to realize "the biggest cover up in human history." The buildup that surrounded the picture died down as the movie got a lukewarm reactions from critics when it premiered in the recent Cannes Film Festival. In my humble opinion, Ron Howard don't do crappy pictures, but he doesn't do great pictures either. As for writer Akiva Goldsman, I am no longer pinning my optimism on his screenplays ever since he made Batman and Robin.

But personally I think the biggest subject of Howard's and Goldsman's crappy adaptation of the impressive best-seller is French actress Audrey Tautou, who I first saw few years ago in the French film Amelie. She was very cute in that character, plus the picture was entertaining. The Da Vinci Code was apparently Tautou's biggest break into Hollywood, but sadly her talent and loveliness was reduced to a simply talking penny. Playing French Cryptographer Agent Sophie Nevue, all that Tautou did for the entire two-or-more hours of the picture was throw questions that Hanks answered with a very long description, slash a sloppy-edited flashback sequence. I can forgive the cacophonic Parisian accent since she's playing a French character, and I can't visualize any other actress in the part, but the loose characterization of Sophie was just bothersome. If Howard and Goldsman will in any way get their hands on the Angels & Demons project, I'll be the first one to hit the streets out of dispute, but not just in the same line as with the Vatican bishops.

Top Tennis Player is a Acknowledged Lesbian

French woman tennis top Amelie Mauresmo is a acknowledged lesbian! God! I didn't know that Amelie has already stated her sexual liking. At first, I considered she just comes across like a man, but I didn't know that she's a lesbian. It was without doubt a revelation that she stated many years ago and yet I didn't know. How come incident like this takes place even if I have been following tennis for many years already?

Actually, everytime I watch Mauresmo, I wonder whether she is a authentic woman. Just early this month, my acquaintances joked around that Maria Sharapova would never be victorious in the 2006 Wimbledon because she would be playing against Mauresmo. I thought they're saying that because Mauresmo is the current top woman in tennis. It turned out that Sharapova would never be victorious because Mauresmo is playing powerfully as a man. Plus, they added that Mauresmo should stop playing against the girls and better participate against Roger Federer and the rest of the guys. Still, I told him that Mauresmo is still a woman and the fact that she's a lesbian did not change my appreciation for her. Notwithstanding, she is the women's top tennis player for me.
